If you’ve read enough of my blog, you have an understanding about the progressing physical limitations and chronic pain I endure every single day, on top of my mental health (or lack thereof, I should say 😂). I am currently awaiting my 1st appeal for Disability. Since I’m unable to contribute to society (hold down a legitimate job) in an acceptably productive way anymore – despite having worked the majority of my “able” life – all I have now is what’s left of my brain-power (oh look, a squirrel!) and the ability to write. This writing journey gives me purpose. I hope – at the very least – that it touches the hearts of my readers… maybe even eliciting a chuckle here and there. I mean… trauma breeds good humor, right?! Or was it dark humor… 🤔
