Dragging. Ass.

Lmao. Ok, this is one of those times when the AI completely failed at depicting the “ambiance” of what I’m going for with JUST my title, so… I kept it. I’m also going to include the wording it came up with because omfg the irony…

Create a highly detailed, high-resolution image of a humorous cartoon character depicted as a tired and sluggish animal, possibly a sloth or tortoise, dragging its behind across a colorful and whimsical landscape. The character should have exaggerated facial expressions of exhaustion and determination, with its limbs extended for comedic effect. Use soft, warm lighting to give the scene an inviting feel, highlighting the vibrant colors of the surroundings. The background should feature lush greenery, playful flowers, and a sunny sky, all in sharp focus to ensure clarity. Please ensure the image captures the lighthearted essence of “dragging ass” while maintaining a fun and engaging style.

Bruh. It went WAY over it’s head, but I gotta say that it did give me a nice chuckle. Plus, how it combined a sloth and a tortoise (slortoise?! Cuz I love me a good mash-up) was actually pretty damn fantastic!

Sorry, that was a hard Squirrel-ing, blame the AI.

I’m dragging some serious ass this morning. Last night was hard (see previous post). I’d also casually commented to The Boyfriend that I’d like it if he came in to kiss me goodbye before leaving for work in the morning (you know, a small “bid for connection” that means a lot to me?!), to which he’d responded that he probably wouldn’t have the time. I snorted and said, “Yep.” Figured as much. So, this morning, I heard a light rustling of fabric, which is what woke me, but it went away as quickly as it came. I’m pretty keen on deciphering intricate sounds (I used to be able to tell which cat was walking through the house back in Arkansas, just by the sound of their specific walk noises on the hardwood floor), so I gathered that it was The Boyfriend (sounded like his light jacket). As I found out later, he HAD came in to give me a kiss and then changed his mind, not “wanting to wake me.” And you know what? That sucked a lot.

Because of the mood tank last night and THAT, I did NOT want to get out of bed. Poor Comet, she really is the sweetest of all 4 cats. So determined, but gentle, with attempting to get me up and going. I really do love her personality, even when I get annoyed at her for wanting to bathe my head (throwback to when I shaved all my hair off, haha) and the timid baps she does on my face.

So yeah… the ass dragging is upon me. Like… I didn’t even make COFFEE this morning. Starting to wonder if I’m losing my mind, honestly. Coffee is one of the very few things I consistently partake of. It doesn’t give me energy, merely calms the anxiety and existential dread, bringing me to a more “content” state of mind.

Huh. Just had a lightbulb go off. I forget things quite often, but these 2 sparks of remembrance are definitely things I’ll Draft for another day: “Impossible Tasks” and “The Spoon Theory” – both very good topics that I know and experience daily.
