Monday Mark – 33.5 & 34.0

33.5 – For Last Week’s MM:

The people who wait until they’re “ready” never are. The people who just start realize they could have been “ready” any time they wanted.

At some point, preparation becomes its own form of procrastination.

Just do the thing.

What have you been preparing for longer than you’d like to admit? What if you just started?

Start the thing you’ve been preparing for. Note how that makes you feel, and reply to let me know.

Unfortunately, I don’t have anything to write on this topic, as I haven’t been preparing or procrastinating anything. I kinda just exist day to day, drifting and doing whatever thing(s) I have that day, if anything.

34.0 – You Already Have What You Wanted

One thing for you to think about

Scarcity dictates what’s meaningful.

When you are alone, a relationship feels meaningful.
When you’re in a relationship, time to yourself feels meaningful.

When you are overworked, time off feels meaningful.
When you have plenty of downtime, work feels meaningful.

The scarcity never gets solved, it simply changes form.

Reflect: Then consider sharing this thought with others.

Three things for you to ask yourself

What feels scarce to you now? What doesn’t? How does that dictate what feels meaningful to you right now?

Recommended: Use these as journaling prompts for the week.

One thing for you to try this week

Pick one thing you have right now that you once wanted badly. Treat it like it could disappear tomorrow. Reply and let me know how that changes things.

Remember: Small changes lead to lasting breakthroughs.

As for how I’m doing… Once again, I did a forget and am having to back-date this post. C’est la Vie, I guess. 😥

I will be posting a 2nd and current post, though.
