26.5 – For Last Week’s MM:
A great spouse makes everything else in your life easier.
A bad spouse makes everything else in your life harder.Your romantic relationship is your highest leverage choice in life.
Every healthy relationship starts with two people who have healthy relationships with themselves.
Any toxic relationship is the result of at least one person’s toxic relationship with themselves.
Think of your most important relationship—this could be your spouse, your partner, your family, a friend.
Is it making everything else in your life easier, or harder? Why?
Do one thing this week you’ve been promising yourself you’d do. Then notice how that changes how you show up with other people.
Ugh. Well… I guess that my relationship with The Boyfriend makes certain things in life harder and other things easier, depending on what aspect you look at. So, it can’t really be making “everything” harder or easier. I can’t have such a black and white perspective. Could it be easier than it is? Absolutely. But life would be much harder if I didn’t have this relationship, too.
27.0 – Whose Permission Are You Waiting For?
Two things for you to think about
Accept this: You don’t have to prove anything to anybody, ever.
Including yourself.
The moment you stop asking for permission is when you realize it was never required.
Reflect: Then consider sharing this thought with others.
Two things for you to ask yourself
What have you been trying to prove lately? Whose permission do you seek?
Recommended: Use these as journaling prompts for the week.
One thing for you to try this week
Pick one small decision you’ve been waiting for permission to make. Make it—and resist the urge to explain yourself. Let me know how it goes.
Remember: Small changes lead to lasting breakthroughs.
As for how I’m doing…

That was yesterday. No rhyme or reason, just a hit in the chesticles with the Void of Despair. Today was better, but I’m still feeling that dark and empty apathy deep down. Kinda makes me wish I didn’t have to wait until March 3rd for the start of Ketamine therapies, but… it is what it is, ya know?
